Writer / Content Creator (Part-time or full-time)

At Adaptyv, our high-throughput cloud lab enables protein designers to experimentally validate their proteins with the click of a button. We're building advanced molecular biology workflows, assay automation and software infrastructure to make it easy for our users to engineer better proteins. Since the launch of our beta access in June 2024 we've been growing rapidly and are now working with the fastest-moving protein design teams in the world , across tech bio startups, major AI companies and the biggest pharmas.

Writer / Content Creator – Bioengineering & Protein Design

We are looking for a Writer & Content Creator to shape and communicate the vision of Adaptyv to the world. This role is for someone who understands bioengineering, protein design, and synthetic biology and can create compelling, scientifically accurate content that resonates with protein engineers, researchers, and industry leaders. You will play a key role in building trust, establishing authority, and driving engagement through content-driven marketing.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content across multiple formats, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and presentations.

• Translate complex scientific ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful storytelling for a technical audience.

• Develop and execute content-driven marketing campaigns , aligning with company goals and scientific milestones.

• Lead the editorial strategy , ensuring a consistent voice and message across all content.

• Engage with the scientific community , producing content that fosters trust and credibility.

• Collaborate with internal teams , including scientists, engineers, and leadership, to craft narratives that showcase innovation.

• Optimize content for reach and engagement , using SEO, distribution strategies, and performance tracking.

• Work independently , taking ownership of content planning, execution, and iteration.

Qualifications

• Background in bioengineering, protein design, synthetic biology, or molecular biology (MS, PhD, or deep industry experience preferred).

• Proven experience in science writing, content marketing, or technical storytelling within biotech or life sciences.

• Ability to distill complex scientific concepts into engaging, accessible content for technical audiences.

• Familiarity with content-driven marketing , audience engagement, and brand-building in scientific and biotech spaces.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills , with a portfolio of published work.

• Self-starter mentality , able to take initiative and execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
