Founding Product Designer

We’re looking for a quick and scrappy designer/hacker.

We are not looking for someone to agonize over wireframes and personas for weeks on end. Design at Anara is lightning fast. We typically take large features from idea to high-fidelity design in days, not weeks or months.

What you’ll be doing:

• Talk to users, translate these conversations into features, improvements and fixes, repeat.
• Own all aspects of web, socials, brand and product design.
• Lead end-to-end product design projects and work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Optimize existing flows to move metrics in the direction we want them to move, e.g. tweaking onboarding flows to increase conversion, or redesigning cancel flows to reduce churn.

You’re likely a good fit if you:

• Live and breathe pixels with excellent taste for well-crafted interaction design and UI details.
• Are excited by the idea of quantifiably measuring the impact of your design work - e.g. how new features affected user retention.
• Have worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with relatively little oversight.

We’re based in San Francisco but have members of the team in Europe too. We offer premium healthcare (medical, dental, etc.), flexible working hours and office space with a beautiful view of the SF marina and Golden Gate bridge.
