We're an early stage startup in healthcare bringing transparency to the system, and one of the top startups from Y Combinator. We've raised from well-known investors including the creator of Gmail Paul Buchheit and the founders of Gusto, Pilot, and the Head of Innovation at Stanford Hospital.
One of our applications is medical billing which is a pain for both doctors and patients, and we're hoping to improve the experience so people can spend their time improving their health versus filling out paperwork; no wonder it's a $50B market.
The founders of Apero are both Stanford and MIT CS grads and include the former CTO of Dr on Demand (now Included Health) having raised $240m.
We're looking for engineers who can help us architect a high-performing system that can handle thousands of medical claims per day and give transparency to patients and providers.
We love folks who have experience in building resilient and beautiful UI and applications and have experience with React, Javascript and build tools such as npm and Webpack, which help with developer experience and velocity.
Note: This position is for a full-time role in San Francisco and preference is given to candidates who are currently residents of, or visiting the Bay Area.
