About the role
What We're Looking For
Arketa is seeking a talented self-starter to join our team and be a key player in all major technical decisions. You'll have the opportunity to build new systems from the ground up and make a significant impact during this period of hyper-growth.
The Role
- Contribute to the design, architecture, and execution of our frontend design system.
- Advance our frontend architecture to ensure scalability and stay ahead of growth demands.
- Take ownership of features, driving the product forward with a focus on impact.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to consistently deliver value and move the needle.
- Present cross-team launches and updates during company-wide check-ins.
Tech Stack: React, Tailwind, Node.js, Firestore, and MongoDB.
The You
- You ship. You enjoy taking ownership and getting things done.
- You’re passionate about designing and building frontend components and prefer it over backend development.
- You’ve made major contributions to a design system in the past.
- Experience: 5+ years as a frontend engineer (We also welcome candidates with 2.5+ years as a frontend engineer and 2.5+ years as a product designer.)
- Proficient in React.js, Tailwind, and TypeScript.
- Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
- Self-sufficient and proactive in tackling challenges.
