Inventory management SaaS for Retail & Consumer brands
We are hiring for an epic Senior Product Designer, with a leaning/talent towards UI.
Here’s an appropriately card-sorted list of requirements!
5+ years experience working on a B2B/B2C digital product, in agile & sprint environment.
Examples of excellent UI in real product work (not concepts).
Design Systems experience.
Advanced Figma skills, inc. variables & prototyping.
In-person working 4 days a week in our Vauxhall office (full time employee role).
A hunger & desire to be the best at what you do, we’re trying to build a phenomenal Product Design team here, and we want to bring people who will push us to be even more ambitious. We want to build Airbnb & Apple-level experiences, not functional, scope-stripped ones.
Experience designing data-heavy platforms.
In-house experience.
Design Systems migrations.
Blue-sky UI design examples (real or concept).
Product Design at autone is not your traditional setup. It’s not an environment where you have to constantly fight for value/understanding of Design.
It is a place where you can genuinely improve your craft. You can lock in and assuming you’re capable, will be given the time to create special work.
You’ll come in and be able to stamp your craft & identity on visual design, which needs the most elevation in our experience.
You’ll do this by owning the Design System first and foremost, while you build up your knowledge of retail & the product.
We are focused on outcomes, we’re incredibly user insights led for a B2B company, and we have founders who were the end users of the product we’re building.
Sakky, our current Principal Product Designer works directly alongside Harry (technical co-founder) on all Product decisions, and has a direct pulse from customers.
Stage 1 - you’ll submit a 2-5 minute video talking through yourself and your work, and what interests you in the role to sakky@autone.io
A few things we’d love to see:
Stage 2 - you’ll have a 45m video call with Sakky to go through a real project you worked recently, understand your motivations and goals, run through the role in more detail and answer any questions you have.
Stage 3 - IRL white boarding session where you’ll be given a (non-Autone) retail brief to design for. This will be alongside engineers and stakeholders so we can simulate a real working environment for you. You’ll map flows, design and then present.
Stage 4 - Video call with one of our founders Adil/Harry
Stage 5 - Offer
