💻 About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at BoldVoice, you’ll play a critical role in driving the development and optimization of our AI systems. Your work will directly enhance the user experience by improving the accuracy and efficiency of our speech recognition and accent feedback technology. Specifically, you’ll work on:

Model Development and Deployment

• Designing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models for speech processing and accent detection.
• Deploying these models in production environments for real-time and batch inference.

Pipeline Development and Optimization

• Building reusable and organized data preprocessing pipelines for speech data.
• Setting up automated evaluation systems to monitor model performance.
• Optimizing training workflows to reduce time-to-deployment.
• Creating scalable batch inference processes to handle large datasets efficiently.

Production Engineering

• Ensuring models run efficiently in production through performance optimization.
• Implementing system monitoring and maintenance processes to guarantee reliability.
• Scaling infrastructure to support a growing user base and increasing data volume.

MLOps

• Setting up robust deployment workflows using modern MLOps practices.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate models into mobile apps and backend systems seamlessly.

✨ Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of experience working on machine learning models in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Experience with speech or audio processing is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated experience building scalable pipelines, deploying models, and implementing MLOps best practices.
• We work out of our office in downtown NYC and want our team to be in person at least 3x a week.
