About the role

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Intern focused on Sales Development (SDR), you will be a key player in our mission to connect with healthcare providers and small business leaders. This remote role will provide you with a robust, hands-on experience that spans from prospect research to setting up appointments that drive our sales process forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Prospect Research & Outreach:**
    • Identify and research potential leads among doctors and small businesses using various online tools and databases.
    • Conduct proactive outreach via email, phone calls, and social platforms to generate initial interest in our solutions.
  • **Pipeline Management:**
    • Utilize our CRM system to track leads, update interactions, and monitor progress throughout the sales funnel.
    • Ensure follow-ups and timely communications to nurture leads toward successful engagements.
  • **Appointment Setting & Support:**
    • Coordinate with our team to schedule demos and calls with interested prospects.
    • Provide support during the sales process by preparing informational packets, answering initial queries, and handling basic administrative tasks.
  • **Market & Competitive Analysis:**
    • Assist in gathering market insights to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare and small business sectors.
    • Provide feedback on outreach strategies and campaign performance to help refine our approach.
  • **Collaboration & Reporting:**
    • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align outreach strategies and refine messaging tailored to our target audiences.
    • Prepare weekly reports detailing outreach metrics, lead statuses, and any market observations.

Qualifications:

  • **Communication Skills:**
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone presence.
    • Ability to clearly articulate value propositions to potential clients.
  • **Self-Motivation & Initiative:**
    • A proven self-starter who can thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • **Tech-Savvy:**
    • Comfort with digital tools and a willingness to learn new technologies (experience with CRM systems is a plus).
    • Basic data analysis skills are beneficial.
  • **Passion for Sales & Innovation:**
    • A genuine interest in sales and the startup ecosystem.
    • Enthusiasm for understanding the unique challenges faced by healthcare providers and small business owners.
  • **Additional Assets (Not Required):**
    • Prior sales experience, especially in B2B or healthcare environments.
    • Background or coursework in business, marketing, or related fields.

We are the backend for the med-legal industry. You’ll be working to create applications that are used to process hundreds of thousands of pages of medical records monthly, and assist physicians in producing high-quality reports quickly and efficiently using AI.
