Capi was founded by Mitch Riley, Scott Liddle, and Tom Watson. Mitch and Scott were COO/CFO/GC and CRO/CMO at Taptap Send, a remittance unicorn, and have spent two decades between them working in emerging markets. Tom is a third-time founder having founded Hubble and P4SD.
As our Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in building out our tech team. Working closely with engineering leadership and talent team, reporting to our Talent Manager, you'll be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of technical roles across the organization. You'll help shape our technical hiring strategy, build relationships with candidates, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Design and execute technical recruitment strategies to build strong candidate pipelines
Manage full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage and onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create compelling job descriptions
Source candidates through multiple channels including direct outreach, referrals, and tech recruitment platforms
Screen technical candidates effectively and manage the interview process
Be our internal driver for Capi’s tech network, including tech recruitment, technical networking events, groups, and communities
Maintain grow an excellent technical candidate network
Track and analyse recruitment metrics to optimise hiring processes
Help develop and improve our technical assessment processes
3+ years of technical recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, or equivalent agency experience
Proven track record of successfully hiring engineers and technical roles
Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and market trends
Experience with modern recruitment tools and platforms (ideally Ashby, Welcome to the Jungle, Juice/Ppl GPT, Github, etc).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Location: London
Experience recruiting for fintech companies
French language skills
Experience working with remote technical teams

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in office on Tues-Thurs, and WFH on Mon/Fri (office is near Old street)
Start date: April 2025 (we are aware that a notice period may need to be fulfilled and can adjust accordingly)
