Cashboard is building AI-powered financial analysis software. Backed by Y Combinator, we've been growing very rapidly since August 2023.

Cashboard’s AI agents help finance teams automatically analyze all their critical data and automatically share analysis with top decisionmakers. Instead of hiring a small army of human analysts, they can employ agents within Cashboard to produce 10x as much analysis, 10x faster, for 1/10th the cost.

Position Overview:

As our growth accelerates, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Cashboard as our first sales hire. This is a remote position.

The SDR will generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) and will set up qualified sales meetings for our Founder to pursue.

This role will be highly impactful and will work closely with Cashboard's Founder/CEO as well as with our Product team. The SDR will collaborate directly with leadership on evolving the sales strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research target companies and decision-makers within our ICP.
  • Conduct both high-volume and targeted outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • End goal is to book demos with decision-makers at qualified prospects in order to drive Cashboard's growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of interactions and pipeline stages in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy and visibility.
  • Partner closely with founder & product team to continuously improve our sales process and craft compelling pitches.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in SaaS.
  • Excellent critical thinking.
  • Strong sense of ownership & urgency.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and booking meetings via outbound outreach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and outbound sales techniques.
  • Ability to handle rejection, pivot quickly, and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.
