About the Role

We’re seeking a Mobile App Growth Manager to own the marketing and user retention strategy for DiagnosUs, our mobile application. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll own key growth metrics, including daily active users, user engagement, and new app downloads. You’ll be responsible for executing innovative marketing campaigns, managing influencer and social media strategies, and collaborating closely with our community manager, part-time medical students, and the product team. What You’ll Do

  1. Drive User Growth & Acquisition
    1. Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns that drive app downloads and expand our user community.
    2. Identify and prioritize high-impact acquisition channels (paid, organic, partnerships) to attract engaged users.
  2. Enhance User Engagement & Retention
    1. Own and optimize key performance metrics, including Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and retention rates.
    2. Implement and manage strategies such as in-app promotions, push notifications, and email marketing to develop retention programs to reduce churn and ensure our app remains a fun and valuable tool for users.
    3. Optimize cost per annotation by managing content and balancing budget constraints with the need for high-quality interactions.
  3. Lead Influencer & Social Media Marketing
    1. Source, sign, and manage Instagram and TikTok influencers; review their content, manage payouts, and update campaign briefs as needed.
    2. Oversee social media presence, collaborating with part-time medical students to manage Instagram and other channels.
    3. Lead email marketing efforts, including drip campaigns for new users and newsletters for existing ones.
  4. Collaborate on Product & Feature Marketing
    1. Act as the “voice of the user,” gathering insights and feedback to communicate feature requests to the product team.
    2. Partner with the product and design teams to craft compelling go-to-market strategies for new feature launches.
    3. Create clear, engaging messaging to educate users and drive the adoption of new features.
  5. Own Brand & Creative Initiatives
    1. Spearhead creative growth experiments, such as giveaways, promotions, and targeted campaigns.
    2. Create or collaborate on visual content, including graphics, videos, and promotional materials for social media and email campaigns.
    3. Manage the DiagnosUs brand identity, overseeing any brand refreshes for visual elements, messaging, and more.
  6. Analyze & Optimize Performance
    1. Track, measure, and report on marketing KPIs (growth, usage, retention) to ensure goals are met.
    2. Leverage marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude) to refine strategies using data-driven insights.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or a similar role focused on mobile apps.
  • Proven success in user acquisition, retention, and engagement through innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and optimizing KPIs such as active users, new downloads, and cost per annotation.
  • Hands-on experience in social media, influencer marketing, and digital campaign management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, particularly with product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Startup experience, particularly in healthcare or AI.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising platforms, campaign optimization, and community engagement.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Experience working with medical professionals or medical education content.
