Job Overview
Cityfurnish is hiring for an Inventory Manager to manage efficient utilization of inventory - ensuring inventory is at the right place in the right condition for maximizing ROI.
Responsibilities
- Review and Analyze inventory on weekly basis - Identify inventory deviation
- Analyzing consumption variance on monthly basis.
- Fortnightly report of inventory utilization and preparation and presentation of variance report identifying root cause of wastages.
- Identify and categorize usable and non-usable Inventory for disposition, in-coordination with QC team
- Monthly Variance report for all warehouses and presentation of report identifying root causes of discrepancy and wastages
- Provide support to warehouse and production team in resolving incorrect postings and incorrect stock movements
- Coordinate with all warehouses for GR documents and carry out parallel posting in inventory management system for inventory alignment in time for sales release
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for activities carried out and identify areas of improvement in process – Odoo vs physical & Maintaining FIFO for all product.
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces
- Inventory training an asset; comfortable with excel and large data sets
- MBA (Operations / Inventory Management)
- Ready to travel frequently to different warehouses in different cities
- Ensuring regular audits and physical stock verification
- Advance Excel knowledge to anaylyse data
