Graphic Designer

CodeCrafters (YC S22) makes programming challenges for experienced software engineers. Besides YC, we're backed by the founders of Instagram and Dropbox. Our customers are experienced engineers at companies like Google, GitHub, Stripe, etc.

We're hiring for a marketing designer.

Key responsibilities:

• Create graphics for our blog, LinkedIn posts, website etc
• Design landing pages for marketing campaigns
• Basic video editing
• Basic motion design

Requirements:

• Evidence of prior tasteful graphic design ability — samples of illustrations, OG images, banners, social media posts, etc. Portfolios and links to past work welcome
• You are motivated, creative, scrappy, and enjoy self-directed work
• Comfortable and well-versed with Figma
• Written and conversational skills in English
• Strong bonus: familiarity with the design language of well-known modern developer brands (e.g Linear, Vercel, PlanetScale, etc)
• Strong bonus: experience with web development (e.g React)

1. 20 min introductory call with a member of our people team
2. If there’s a fit, we’ll do a take-home assignment (4-6hrs). This may be waived in the presence of a strong relevant portfolio.
3. 15 min call with the CEO
