About the role
Corgea is an AI-powered cybersecurity startup transforming application security by automatically finding, triaging, and fixing insecure code. We’re looking for a highly driven BDR with cybersecurity or devtools experience (preferably in AppSec) to generate pipeline and book meetings with security leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies.
What You’ll Do:
- Outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and cold calls to engage AppSec & security leaders.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for Account Executives.
- Customize messaging to highlight security pain points and Corgea’s value.
- Collaborate with marketing & sales to refine outreach strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2+ years of BDR/SDR experience in cybersecurity (AppSec or DevTools preferred).
✔ Strong understanding of DevTools, SAST, DAST, SBOMs, vulnerability management, or DevSecOps.
✔ Track record of exceeding quota and booking high-quality meetings.
✔ Experience with HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, or other sales tools.
✔ California-based preferred, but open to strong remote candidates in the US or Canada.
