About the Role

Dialect is hiring its first Developer Relations Engineer to lead the education & adoption of a new developer tools product category.

You may be a good fit for this role if you have an obsession with great developer tools, an enthusiasm for evangelizing them, and a relentless drive to discover the language that defines them.

This position offers competitive compensation, including salary, equity, and benefits package commensurate with experience and location. This role requires being onsite in New York City one or two days a week.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with the leadership, engineering, and product teams at Dialect to understand and shape our vision, and then share that knowledge with the community.
• You will work closely with the developer community to educate them on these new concepts and the tools we’ve built around them, & respond to feedback to help better shape how we communicate our products, & what the products are themselves.
• You will be in charge of creating and managing a variety of technical documentation, including blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars, and workshops, to empower developers and bridge knowledge gaps, enhancing partners understanding and collaboration.
• You will develop and execute strategies to educate and inspire developers about Dialect’s tools and features.
• You will engage and build relationships with developers in blockchain and Web3 communities.
• You will collaborate with the leadership team to maintain consistent messaging and brand alignment across all developer-focused initiatives.
• You will align the team daily, weekly, and monthly on our vision and strategy as we explore this new product category. You will monitor and report on the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.

Requirements & Skills

• You have 2+ of experience in Developer Relations or a similar role, ideally in the blockchain/web3 domain. Or: surprise us with something about you that makes you uniquely qualified for this role.
• You have an ownership mindset. You take responsibility & you find solutions.
• You possess a strong technical background with a solid understanding of blockchain technology and smart contract development.
• You have experience creating technical content, including tutorials, blog posts, and videos.
• Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, enabling you to engage effectively with a technical audience.
• You thrive working independently in a dynamic, remote environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are passionate about blockchain technology and deeply committed to community building.
• You are online. You understand that customer feedback comes through all kinds of channels, including X, Discord, and other community forums.
• You are a commander of process, not its subject. We are a small, highly competent team, we move quickly, & we believe that every team must strive to create as little process as necessary, but no less.
