About Us

DreamCraft creates technology that inspires talented individuals to create all kinds of video games without programming. To do that we must break the existing rules of game development based on funded teams and professional engines, and gear up our creators the most intuitive, easy-to-use, instant-deploy tools and unleash their full potential so that they can create the next "Dota", "PUBG", and "Clash of Clans".

Responsibilities​

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to help build features and solve creative problems
  • Help create performant graphics shaders for awesome visuals
  • Facilitate communication and asset pipeline between engineering and artist teams

Requirement​

  • Driven and fierce
  • Solid understanding of Game Engines such as Unity
  • 3+yrs of experience working as Technical Artist in gaming space
  • Experience in scripting with C# within the Unity environment
  • Experience creating real-time visual effects sequences
  • Knowledge of optimizing real-time 3D-graphics pipeline for mobile platforms
  • Key skills in Unity 3D, C#, real-time VFX, and artistic skills
  • BS or MS degree in design, games-related or technical field a plus
  • Solid artistic skills (drawing or digital painting) a plus
  • Experience collaborating within a multi-person game studio a plus

In 30 days, you will

  • Get familiar with existing rendering code paths and shader implementations
  • Get familiar with the current asset creation/importing process.
  • Contribute minor graphics bug fixes, help with asset importing and fix minor asset issues.

In 60 days, you will

  • Create visual effects, identify graphics issues and help improve the graphics quality of our games.
  • Manage the asset creation/importing process, identify inefficiencies in the process and devise plans for improvements.

In 90 days, you will

  • Evaluate/design/implement solutions for new graphics/animation requirements of our games.
  • Create guidelines for asset creation/importing processes and work on tools to help artists/designers manage the process and allow fast asset iterations.

In 1 year, you will

  • Understand the project’s graphics implementations and asset pipelines/processes in great detail and be recognized as the expert in these domains by the team.
  • Implement rendering solutions to meet the graphics requirements of our games and improve graphics quality.
  • Create and implement guidelines/processes/tools for artists/designers to easily create/manage art assets and incorporate them in games in fast iterations.
  • Be the goto person to solve any challenging graphics/assets related issues.
  • Devise plans for future upgrades to our rendering/asset pipelines.
  • The success in this role will be measured by evaluating the graphic quality of launched games, overall efficiency of the asset creation/importing process, and other team members’ feedback.
