Founding Engineer
About the role
Role: We are looking for a highly technical, hard-working, and scrappy full-stack engineer to join the team as the founding engineer (staff level). You’ll partner with the founder to build out the engineering team and take the product to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product development ensuring the system is scalable, reliable, and meets the needs of our customers
- Develop and execute on the technology strategy working closely with the founder
- Stay up-to-date with the latest LLM best practices and apply them to our product
- Manage a fast-growing technical team ensuring quick delivery of high-quality solutions
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the technology team
Qualifications:
- Passionate about making housing more affordable
- C.S. degree from a reputable university
- Former founder or founding engineer ideal
- Former technical lead and/or staff engineer
- Experience building and architecting large consumer facing systems
- Up-to-date with new trends in LLMs and a desire to work at the cutting edge
