We're seeking a creative and user-focused Product Designer to join our team, combining strong design fundamentals with a passion for crafting intuitive digital experiences.
Our ideal candidate excels at translating complex ideas into beautiful, user-centered designs. This role is central to our product development and will be responsible for defining and evolving our design systems, spec’ing new features, and ensuring elegant UI/UX across all our products—both buyer-facing and brand/dealership-facing. While experience with frontend development is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role.
Create and maintain comprehensive design systems, craft user flows, and collaborate closely with stakeholders.
Active personal portfolio showcasing your design process and finished work.
Strong eye for design, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
Deep understanding of user experience best practices and designing for various screen sizes.
Excellent communication skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Serve as a shared design resource across all product touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality experience for both vehicle buyers and business users.
Utilize Figma to create, refine, and document design systems and UX patterns.
Work with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.
Translate design concepts into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Spec new features with an optimal balance between aesthetics, usability, and performance.
Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in design practices.
Ideally, you’ve worked on checkout experiences in other roles and know how to optimize them for efficiency and conversion.
Experience with front-end development technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress) is advantageous.
Ability to work in agile environments, rapidly iterating on designs to ship high-quality digital experiences.
