About the role
What we’re looking for
Emerge is building the future of mobile development. We already offer an extensive suite of tooling for both iOS and Android (Size Analysis, Performance Analysis, Snapshots, Launch Booster & ReaperAI) and work closely with many of the biggest & best companies in mobile (DoorDash, Square, Airbnb, Duolingo and Stripe).
📣 We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of building iOS apps at scale and enjoys working closely with customers to improve their experience.
An ideal candidate
- Extensive hands-on experience in iOS app development, preferably on an app shipped to millions of users developed by a large team
- Strong technical writing & communication skills
- Passion for design & user experience
- Experience with CI tooling like Fastlane, Github Actions, Xcode Cloud
- Familiar and excited about backend/fullstack, product work (Typescript, Ruby, Serverless & AWS)
- Thrives in a fast moving, collaborative, and proactive environment (we strive for a culture similar to Gitlab, but adapted for a small team)

About the interview
Our process can be flexible and dependent on the candidate, but here's a quick general overview:
- Initial screening call with Josh
- 50 minute system design interview with Trevor
- 30 minute product chat with Max
- Technical chat with Noah
- Deeper culture, product & technical conversation with Josh
During our interview process you'll be talking directly with the people that you'll be working closely with every day. Typically we try to make decisions within 3 weeks, but can be flexible on timelines!
