Epsilon3 is the leading software (SaaS) for teams that build and operate spacecraft, aircraft, and advanced hardware systems.
Launched in 2021, our company is led by engineers from SpaceX, Google, and NASA, who have experience supporting over 100 space missions. Innovative teams from Blue Origin, Rocket Lab, Firefly Aerospace, and many others depend on our web-based platform to plan and track high-stakes operations. We raised a $15M Series A funding round led by Lux Capital, Y Combinator (YC S21), and other world-class investors.
This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
We're looking for Software Engineers who are interested in space and passionate about building scalable, reliable software. You will be responsible for creating delightful user experiences that solve very complex problems. We are currently using technologies such as Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS GovCloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, and we expect our stack to evolve over time as we scale our solutions and approach.
This is an impactful role within a fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience designing and implementing software systems from requirements to production and deployment.
The application: Node.js shop with a React frontend. Platform built on Express, with a hybrid monolith and microservices architecture. We use Postgres, CouchDB and InfluxDB databases, with a core emphasis on Postgres. It's all containerized with Docker, orchestrated with Kubernetes, and Helm charts tie it all together in our CI pipeline.
Salary range: $120,000 - $175,000
This full-time role also comes with stock options, PTO, and a 4% 401k match.

The interview process starts off with a technical interview with an engineer on our team. You’ll run through some coding exercises and CS fundamentals, learn more about the product and current tools used, plus get a quick overview of the day-to-day at Epsilon3. There will also be additional interviews with our engineer leaders and co-founders. These interviews will focus on cultural fit as well as technical skills.
