About the role

Firecrawl is the easiest way for developers to gather LLM-ready data from the web. As we grow our brand and reach, we’re looking for a sharp, organized, and internet-native Creator & Community Lead to help us scale our content distribution, deepen community engagement, and work closely with influencers in our space. This is a contract role that’s perfect for someone who lives online, understands dev culture, and can manage people, posts, and processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Influencer & Creator Coordination: Identify aligned creators, manage outreach, and coordinate schedules. Keep conversations moving across DMs, email, and Twitter.
  • Content & Post Scheduling: Own the content calendar across platforms. Use tools like Hypefury or Typefully to schedule, post, and track performance.
  • Community Management (Discord): Keep our Discord community active and engaged. Moderate, answer product questions, and build lightweight processes to support user conversations.
  • Internal Ops & Process: Build and manage systems for handling outreach, post scheduling, and community ops. Use tools like Notion, Airtable, Zapier, or whatever you love to stay organized.
  • Product Fluency: Understand the Firecrawl product well enough to communicate clearly with developers, creators, and influencers. You don’t need to code—but you should be able to talk about APIs, scrapers, and LLMs.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Internet-Native: You’re extremely online and understand how influence, conversation, and content move across Twitter, Discord, and beyond.
  • Clear Communicator: You write fast, follow up reliably, and keep projects moving across multiple stakeholders.
  • Organized and Self-Directed: You’re excellent at tracking tasks, building systems, and following through without needing a playbook.
  • Creator-Savvy: You’ve worked with influencers or creators before—whether in tech, design, or startup niches—and know what makes them tick.
  • Tech-Literate: You’re not a dev, but you understand technical products well and can talk about them intelligently with creators and the community.

You’ll stand out if you:

  • Have experience at a fast-moving startup or ran your own thing before.
  • Have built or managed a vibrant Discord or online community.
  • Have your own strong online presence or have helped grow accounts for other brands or creators.
  • Are familiar with growth and automation tools—anything from Airtable and Zapier to Twitter analytics platforms.

What it means to join Firecrawl:

  • Autonomy: You’ll own your lane. No micromanagement. Just outcomes.
  • Creative Freedom: You’ll help define how we show up online—how we sound, what we post, who we partner with.
  • Remote-First Culture: We care about what you get done, not where you do it.
  • Impactful Work: You’ll be central to growing the Firecrawl brand and community as we scale.

About the interview

We keep it lean and real. Here’s what to expect:

  • Intro Chat (15 minutes): Learn about you, your background, and what excites you about this role.
  • Async Task (1–2 hours): A short prompt to show how you think and execute. Could be a content calendar mock-up, outreach plan, or community growth idea.
  • Culture & Collaboration Interview (1 hour): A deeper convo on how you work, what you care about, and where you want to grow.

About Firecrawl

Firecrawl is the easiest way to extract data from the web. Developers use us to reliably convert URLs into LLM-ready markdown or structured data with a single API call. We crossed 19k GitHub stars in just 6 months and have had paying customers since day one.

Previously, we built Mendable, one of the first commercially available “chat with your data” applications. We sold to companies like MongoDB, Coinbase, Snapchat, and more. To do this, we spent a surprising amount of time building reliable infrastructure for getting clean data from the web. When we started to see our founding friends rebuilding the same thing, we thought we might be on to something.
