About The Team

What does the team do?
The Data Analytics team at Fleek plays a critical role in driving data-driven decisions across the organization. The Data team partners with the Product, Business, and Operations departments to ensure that data is effectively used to enhance business performance, product development, and operational efficiency. As a Data Analyst in Fleek, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, creating insightful reports, and providing in-depth analysis supporting strategic initiatives in the second-hand fashion marketplace.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct high-quality analysis to generate actionable insights that will drive business decisions and improve our B2B marketplace operations.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business teams to define goals, identify key metrics, and drive product features and releases.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track business performance, product adoption, and operational metrics specific to the second-hand fashion industry.
- Work with Data Engineering and partner teams to develop core data sets within our Data Warehouse and BI tools, ensuring they empower operational and exploratory analyses.
- Automate data extraction by creating denormalized tables or data marts based on the unique needs of the second-hand fashion marketplace.
- Design and develop complex data queries to move and transform data from operational sources to analytical databases, focusing on marketplace dynamics.
- Ensure rigorous data validation and quality control for all dashboards, reports, and analyses delivered.
- Support the identification of new business or product opportunities and assist in the experimentation and delivery of marketplace enhancements.
Who are you?
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong background in statistics or product analytics within a fast-paced industry.
- You are an expert in SQL, data visualization, and dashboarding, with experience in tools like Tableau, Metabase, Google Data Studio, or similar.
- You have experience in data modeling and creating both logical and physical data models tailored to the needs of a B2B marketplace.
- You are comfortable working independently with minimal guidance, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- You possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business processes, enabling you to translate them into meaningful data insights.
- You have experience working with e-commerce or marketplace data, particularly in the fashion industry, which is highly desirable.
- You are curious, detail-oriented, and have a passion for solving complex analytical problems.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
