Founding AI / ML Engineer

This is a full-time role as an Founding AI / ML Engineer, located onsite in New York, NY.

As an Founding AI / ML Engineer at Hadrius, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing HadriusGPT, the powerful LLM purpose-built to prevent the next financial crisis. Expect to handle millions of data points in live environments touching billions in AUM, using this data to pipeline, train, fine-tune, and prompt to identify regulatory risks at the earliest instant and automate workflows for the biggest financial institutions in the world.

You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of the financial system. We pride ourselves on having a hands off culture by having very few meetings and giving engineers a broad scope of responsibility. Responsibilities

First week:

• Day 1: push your first PR to production
• Outline the development and improvements for the next phase of HadriusGPT in collaboration with the founding team
• Understand the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap
• Learn the Hadrius way: how we work and build for hyper growth
• Get up to speed on the codebase
• Contribute to product discussions in weekly all hands

First month:

• Deploy increasingly powerful LLM iterations to production
• Owning and implementing the new AI architecture for the entire Hadrius product

First 3 months & beyond:

• Pioneering and guiding AI efforts
• Continuing to develop the above skillset, paying special attention to scaling challenges as we bring on more and more clients
• Mentoring new team members and supporting them towards a successful trajectory

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience engineering and modeling with LLMs
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Experience deploying and iterating on fine tuned LLMs in production
• Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to haves:

• Experience applying ML to regtech / legal space
• Experience with AWS sagemaker and Bedrock
• Some experience working with React
