Job Description

Homebase is looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join our dynamic and passionate team. This role offers the opportunity to lead, innovate, and shape the future of the company and make a real difference.

Joining the team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s technology and product roadmaps;
• Define and implement scalable, efficient, and secure technology architecture and design principles;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive product innovations;
• Oversee the full life cycle of our web and mobile technology products, from design and development to quality assurance and deployment;
• Enhance efficiency by collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, create technical solutions, and deliver quality products;
• Manage and optimize the company’s product infrastructure and operations;
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance for our high-performing team of Engineers;
• Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the team, exploring new technologies and solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Our Requirements

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

• Attained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top tier university with good academic standing;
• Strong technical background with expertise in software development and engineering;
• Proven experience as a CTO or similar senior technical leadership position in a tech company;
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in founding and/or leading a startup is a plus;
• Proven business acumen in strategic planning, organizational development, and process optimization;
• Knowledge of industry best practices in software development, digital products, and scalability;
• Full professional proficiency in English.
