Chief of Staff / Right arm of the CEO

Job description:

In the context of our rapid growth, we are looking for a young talent eager to join an entrepreneurial adventure and be at the heart of the decision-making process. You will gain hands-on experience in a high-growth startup environment, working closely with Martin (CEO) and Thomas (CBO) on diverse strategic, financial, and operational projects.

• Directly assist Martin preparing the next fundraising round : Dataroom preparation, BP, Deck.
• Answer to opportunities for public grants and subsidies.
• Manage internal cash flow and contribute to future budget planning.
• Analyze new market opportunities and determine precise market sizes.
• Identify new potential clients to support European business expansion via digital (SEO, LinkedIn, partnerships) and non-digital (physical events) channels.
• Refine HyLight's pricing strategy and prepare business presentations and reports for securing new clients.

Additionally, you will:

• Lead and support HyLight's administrative management, including:
  • Onboarding / Offboarding of employees.
  • Accounting and financial tracking.
  • Payroll management.
  • Recruitment follow-ups.
• Work on process automation using AI agents to streamline repetitive tasks.

HyLight, who are we?

HyLight's ambition is to make our societies resilient to the effects of climate change by working on the crucial observation and inspection stage for a better understanding of our world.

HyLight is developing a solution for easily inspecting large areas. Our HyLighters are capable of collecting a wide range of data over hundreds of kilometers without emitting greenhouse gases.

Our activities include :

• Detecting methane leaks on gas infrastructures (4% of global GHG emissions).
• Inspecting power lines to prevent blackouts and forest fires.

We aim to inspect over 5 million kilometers of European energy infrastructure per year by 2030.
