About the role

What we are looking for

We're looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to help develop our AI-powered quality assurance platform for customer support. You'll develop core systems that process and analyze customer support interactions, integrating advanced AI models to extract actionable insights. Your work will focus on creating algorithms and tools to significantly enhance the efficiency and productivity of quality assurance (QA) teams, while optimizing data pipelines to handle high volumes of real-time support data.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and develop highly scalable, robust software systems
  • Design and implement high-performance, secure APIs for internal and external use
  • Help the team in leveraging and integrating diverse AI technologies, including LLMs (open and close source), traditional ML algorithms, statistical methods, and deep learning techniques
  • Develop and optimise AI agents for various applications in customer support

What you will need

  • Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in B2B SaaS products and machine learning applications
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, preferable with deep knowledge of its libraries and frameworks for ML and web development
  • Demonstrated expertise in algorithms and data structures, with a track record of implementing efficient solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for developing innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience in applied machine learning, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) and understanding (NLU) technologies
  • Proven ability to build, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications in production environments
