Chief of Staff (CoS)

Julius is seeking a Chief of Staff (CoS) to serve as a trusted partner and swiss army knife to the CEO. This is a role where no two days are alike—you’ll drive strategic initiatives, cut through blockers, and keep our lean, technical team aligned as we grow. With a mission to empower one billion humans to become software creators, we need someone who thrives in ambiguity and can turn big ideas into actionable wins.

What you will do:

• Act as an extension of the CEO, translating leadership decisions into actionable initiatives, tracking progress, and resolving cross-team dependencies

• Drive ad-hoc cross-functional projects spanning recruiting, customer support, community building, and other critical functions as needed

• Work with leadership, marketing, and business ops on go-to-market efforts, marketing materials, and educational content

• Lead company-wide communications to foster transparency and alignment across teams

• Identify and resolve critical business bottlenecks through proactive troubleshooting and end-to-end project management

• Serve as a cross-functional integrator, breaking down silos and driving operational excellence across teams

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships across all levels

• Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency, being able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining a high quality of work

• A proactive mindset—anticipating needs and delivering thoughtful solutions

• Strong project management skills

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working with technical teams and products, ideally in a fast-paced startup

• Jargon-free communication ability

Nice to haves

• Experience at fast growing early-stage startups and/or a B2C prosumer company

• Technical literacy: SQL, Python, Data Science

• Experience with financial modeling
