Laylo powers drops for some of the world’s biggest creators and brands. Drops have become the predominant marketing strategy for merch, tickets and content and we're building the leading CRM to power them. The platform combines landing pages, messaging, link tracking, and more to empower musicians, artists, celebrities, creators and brands with the tools to drive more sales and streams around their most important moments.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Chaos Marketer—a creative who dreams up and executes unique and disruptive marketing ideas every week. You’ll take Laylo’s brand awareness and growth to the next level by executing high-impact strategies without relying on paid ad acquisition. We’ll give you a monthly budget and your mission is to surprise, delight, and captivate our current and potential users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ideation: Generate fresh, out-of-the-box marketing concepts weekly to amplify Laylo’s brand visibility.
• Execution: Lead end-to-end implementation of your creative ideas within the allocated monthly budget.
• Experimentation: Test unconventional strategies to attract attention, drive engagement, and spark organic growth.
• Collaboration: Partner with design, content, and social teams to bring your ideas to life.
• Metrics & Learnings: Track and measure the impact of your initiatives, iterating based on outcomes to continuously improve.
• Trendspotting: Stay ahead of emerging marketing trends and cultural moments to leverage timely opportunities.

Our founders met while building competing consumer startups. We launched multiple products across consumer and SaaS and talked to thousands of fans and creators in the process. In 2020, we realized one of the biggest pain points artists and events face is actually driving their audience from socials into their own CRM.
In 2020, we joined Y Combinator’s summer batch and began building a product that quickly gained strong early traction. We raised from top-tier investors like Eldridge and Sony and have since grown into a team of 17 exceptional individuals spanning product, sales, and operations.
Today, we power drops to millions of fans for some of the biggest names in music, live events, and sports. We’re on a mission to build the next generation of entertainment marketing, helping creators connect with fans like never before.
We have a strong written documentation culture, leveraging Notion to share ideas and record processes and learnings. We try to do as much as possible asynchronously to move quickly and efficiently. We have a daily 30 minute standup and weekly hour long all hands.
Creators and Brands have a few key moments that drive the majority of their sales and fan engagement, we call them drops. At Laylo, we're building the Drop CRM to make these moments perfect.
With Laylo, creators and brands can notify fans the second they drop new content, merch and events. From there, they get a full featured CRM, a dashboard to connect with fans forever in the future, high conversion landing pages and deep analytics to conversions, click throughs and sales.
