About us

Letterdrop is a YC-backed seed stage startup. We help sales-led companies uncover net new pipeline by automating social selling and giving them unique intent data. We effectively sell pipeline and we’re pretty darn good at it for the right fit companies (sample 1, sample 2, sample 3, and many more success stories)

We have a repeatable sales motion. Our founding AE has consistently been exceeding quota and is starting to feel stretched thin, which is where you come in. For the last 3 months, we were 108%, 145%, and 125% to target.

You’ll be working closely with me, the CEO and Ryan, our founding AE. You’ll also get to learn from Isaiah, our sales advisor, who is hands down one of the best sellers I’ve met and took a business from $200k as first AE to $xxM as CRO.

About you

  • You are an SDR or AE early in your career with experience at early stage startups
  • You are strong at self-sourcing pipeline and outbound - show us your results
  • You are high agency
  • You are coachable and low ego
  • You learn quickly and have high slope
  • You are both intelligent and have high EQ
  • You believe in the Letterdrop approach to GTM with social selling
  • Prior closing experience is nice but not required

Who is this for?

You are a high-potential seller early in your career who doesn’t want to deal with politics and just needs a solid product and market demand to sell. We have enough of a repeatable sales process and top-tier coaching.

Who is this not a fit for?

  • You can’t work hard right now. If you have big priorities outside of work, this is not the right move.
  • You need a traditional environment and structure.
  • You don’t have the drive and aptitude to learn what it means to be a great seller

If the above make you even more excited, great! If it’s not a fit, that’s cool too — good to get it out of the way early.

What will you do?

  • Prospecting - email, cold calls, LinkedIn, events. You will have to self-source at least 8 SAOs per month
  • Become a public expert in our space to bring leads to you using Letterdrop
  • Run a full sales cycle from start to finish (discovery, demo, evaluation, multi-threading, building business case, negotiation) for mid-market deals. $15-30k ACV. 4-6 weeks sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Located in New York. Plan is to do 2 days/week in office with me
  • 1 yr experience as an SDR
  • Optional: 1-2 yrs of experience as an AE
  • Familiarity with how revenue teams operate: Sales, RevOps, Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree
