Job Overview

We are seeking a Head of AI Product to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our AI-driven products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product leadership, and business acumen to drive innovation, improve customer experiences, and maximize the impact of AI in our product offerings.

As part of the LunaJoy team, you will play an essential role in directly contributing to support the mental health journey of one million women with purpose-driven innovation, unwavering compassion, and transformative care. You will need speed to adapt quickly and efficiently and the drive to be 1% better every day, constantly striving for improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the AI product roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and business teams to develop and scale AI-powered solutions.
  • AI Model Development & Integration: Oversee the lifecycle of AI models, from research to production, ensuring high performance and ethical AI practices.
  • User-Centered Innovation: Work closely with customers and stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Drive AI product launches, including positioning, pricing, and customer adoption strategies.
  • AI Governance & Compliance: Ensure AI models adhere to ethical guidelines, privacy regulations, and responsible AI practices.
  • Team Leadership & Growth: Build and mentor a world-class AI product team.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years in AI product management, machine learning, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including NLP, deep learning, and data infrastructure.
  • Product Leadership: Proven experience in building and scaling AI-powered products from ideation to launch.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate AI capabilities into business value and user benefits.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with cloud-based AI services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or product-led organization.

  • Compensation Range: USD $10,500 based on location, experience, qualifications, and applicable federal and state minimum wage requirements.

About the interview

Interview Process

  • HR Screen:
    The first phase involves an initial screening with HR. During this stage, we will discuss your experience, skills, and alignment with LunaJoy’s values and culture. This step ensures that you meet the basic qualifications and provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the company and the role.
  • Second Phase with Hiring Manager:
    Candidates who pass the HR screen will move on to an interview with the Hiring Manager. In this phase, we dive deeper into your technical abilities, role-specific competencies, and how you approach challenges. The Hiring Manager will assess your fit within the team and your ability to contribute to LunaJoy’s mission.
  • Offer Stage:
    After the second phase, successful candidates will move to the offer stage. We will present a formal offer that includes compensation, benefits, and any additional details about the role. This is also your opportunity to ask any final questions before making your decision.
  • Onboarding & Training:
    Once the offer is accepted, the onboarding process begins. You will be guided through setting up tools, learning about LunaJoy’s systems and workflows, and engaging in any role-specific training. This phase ensures a smooth transition into your new role, setting you up for success from day one.

About LunaJoy

LunaJoy is a telemental health platform that is specialized in women's mental health through the lifespan to include adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, loss, perimenopause. We combine services including psychotherapy, medication evaluations, nutritional psychiatry, and mind-body interventions under one telehealth roof. We work to integrate directly into OB offices and health systems to access patients where they are already receiving care.
