About the role

What you’ll do:

• Tackle Complex Challenges: Work on intricate problems at the intersection of AI, supply chain, and workflow automation. This involves creating core building blocks, scaling scraper technology, and open-sourcing integrations.
• Lead Engineering Design: Architect and design critical components of our product and infrastructure.
• Hands-On Full-Stack Coding: Engage in fast-paced, iterative development, writing code that directly impacts our product.
• Strategize Engineering Decisions: Balance speed and technical debt to optimize our engineering strategy.
• Advance LLMs: Collaborate closely with the founders to enhance our LLM pipeline, ensuring it’s robust for production. Our pipeline includes an orchestrator, guardrails, context construction, model gateways, routers, agentic workflows, and more.
• Enhance ML Pipelines: Support the evolution of our ML pipeline, from preprocessing and feature engineering to finetuning and testing.
• Drive DevOps Excellence: Play a key role in orchestrating our workflow automation, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining uptime as we scale.
• Customer Collaboration: Partner with some of the brightest minds in supply chain—business leaders with technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, computer, analytics, and industrial engineering—to co-design the product.

Who you are:

• You have startup experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• You’re comfortable iterating fast, even if it means throwing away code.
• You’re excited about building at the bleeding-edge of AI and ML.
• You’ve built and scaled applications that are widely used.
• You have solid experience with GCP or AWS.
• You’re enthusiastic about interacting with customers to refine and enhance the product.
• You’re a versatile engineer who doesn’t shy away from frontend, backend, or ML challenges.
• You’re a fast learner, eager to pick up new skills and technologies.

Bonus Points:

• Academic or professional experience in AI with a solid grasp of first principles.
• A desire to grow into an engineering leadership role as the company scales.
