About the Role

Leading Founding Ops at Mentum, you’ll directly support our founder and team to scale operations, drive growth, and launch strategic initiatives across product, sales operations, marketing, and customer success.

You'll become the operational backbone of Mentum, ensuring efficiency and smooth execution so the team can focus on building great products and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Product and Customer Success: Coordinate regular customer interactions, renewals, and manage feature requests.
• Pre-Sales and Sales: Manage outreach campaigns, coordinate demos, discovery calls, and maintain sales materials, growth hacking to experiment with distribution channels.
• Research & Strategy: Conduct market research for product positioning and roadmap.
• Marketing: Create and publish engaging content on LinkedIn and blogs.
• Events: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of industry conferences (travel required).
• Operations: Streamline and scale internal processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in Product, Business Operations, Growth, Sales Ops, or founding team at a fast growing startup.
• Proven track record managing multiple initiatives across sales, marketing, customer success, and operations.
• Experience prospecting leads (mid-market, enterprise) and / or growth hacking.
• Strong writing and content creation skills.

Bonus Points

• Ex-founder, early-stage startup or SaaS experience.
• Familiarity or experience with Python or JavaScript to automate processes.
• Knowledge or experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, etc.
• A desire to grow into a COO, CoS, or Head of Product as we scale.

Location

San Francisco, CA. We believe in the power of having a small set of very smart and driven people in one room. This is an in-person role (not remote or hybrid).

Our office is in front of Salesforce Park, surrounded by other YC AI startups. You’ll also have a direct say in our snacks!
