The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program, focusing on full-stack development across our suite of products. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience building and optimizing the core components of our cutting-edge financial connectivity API. Working alongside experienced engineers previously from Google, Meta, Affirm and Palantir, you’ll contribute to the development, improvement and maintenance of our systems.

Location & Start Date

This role will be on a hybrid work format based out of either our New York or Austin TX office.

The target start date for this internship is Mid May - Early June and the program will run 10-12 weeks depending on academic calendars.

Process

1. Application Review
2. If selected, 1-Hour Coding Assignment in Coderpad
3. Recruiter Zoom (30min)
4. 2-3 hour Final Round Virtual Interviews: 2 technicals and 1 behavioral.

We will review applications on a rolling basis and start inviting candidates to complete the first step starting the week of Feb 24.

What You’ll Do

Alongside existing team members:

• Build performant and scalable platforms and services powering Method's innovative products
• Build delightful user experiences in React and power them with a reliable backend in Node
• Investigate and debug any issues using our monitoring & logging tools as well as create clear action items to resolve them
• Help maintain our high technical bar by participating in code reviews

What We’re Looking For

• College juniors, seniors, or graduate students graduating in 2025-2026
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience or coursework in backend development, including working with databases and server-side programming
• Familiarity with programming languages, ideally JavaScript with React + Node
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• A passion for building reliable and scalable systems

The compensation for this role will be $55/hr.
