About the role
Job Overview:
As a Founding Mobile Engineer at Ally, you will be instrumental in building and shaping our mobile application from the ground up. Your primary focus will be developing high-quality, user-centric features using React Native, ensuring a seamless and effective user experience for our allergy management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- App Development: Lead the charge in building our React Native app. Make sure it's smooth, reliable, and top-notch.
- Team Player: Collaborate with our product and design folks to roll out cool new features. Your ideas will help shape our mobile tech!
- Quality First: Test and validate your code to keep our app running like a dream.
- User Focus: Keep our users happy by making the app easy and fun to use. Use their feedback to make it even better.

Environmental Allergies Management Suite
Ally helps people to manage their environmental allergies. With Ally, people can discover what they are allergic to and determine the best care plan.
It all starts with our At-home allergy test. We send it to your home, and with a prick of blood, our labs learn what you are allergic to. This then personalizes the Ally app, which helps you track and manage your allergies. For example, you can know which days are worse based on location and symptoms. Ally acts as an AI-powered allergies coach. You can also learn from a community of other people with similar allergies what works best for them.
Fifty million people in the US suffer from environmental allergies. It's forecasted that by 2050, the number of people globally who suffer from this will eclipse one billion!
