What you’ll do
You'll build and improve the AI agents powering Parahelp–applying latest techniques, running evaluations, building retrieval pipelines, and optimizing for speed and cost.
You might be a great fit if:
- You've built production-grade LLM systems and agent architectures
- You have strong software engineering fundamentals and deep AI/ML knowledge
- You proactively automate your own workflow with AI tools
- You're ambitious and thrive in fast-paced environments
- You're always trying to move faster and find shortcuts
Our values
Before applying, please read these values and make sure you're fully aligned with them:
- Customers first. We only win when our customers are successful.
- Revenue growth is our single metric. Companies are redefining how they work with AI today. We have to be the solution they choose to help them; revenue growth indicates this.
- Clock speed is our moat. We win over incumbents because we continue to ship the best product.
- We are always working. Everyone spends >70 hours a week in the office and works nights and weekends. We expect this from each other.
- We are shameless. We’re not afraid to throw away past work for something better.
- We take ownership. We require everyone to care—a lot. No one goes home if something is broken. We count on each other to get things done in time.
Parahelp is the AI support agent for software companies. Like a teammate, our agent resolves support tickets end-to-end by using a company's existing infrastructure, including tools like Slack, Stripe, Retool, and Linear.
We're building Parahelp because we believe context—not intelligence—will be the bottleneck for the future of AI coworkers.
Focus right now: Building an AI coworker that can fully perform the work of a human support agent at a software company.
Mission: To build AI coworkers that leverage the context from customer conversations to automate work across support, success, product, and engineering.
Our momentum:
- Launched in August 2024.
- Working with leading software companies like Perplexity, Framer, Replit, and HeyGen.
- Backed by Y Combinator, Paul Graham, Perplexity Fund, Hidden Capital, and founders of Replit, Framer, Calm, ElevenLabs, Runway, Speak, Zendesk, etc.
