About the Position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join us on our mission to simplify the employee benefits market. As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to identify, document, and track bugs and defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

You will also lead two important strategic initiatives, building and managing a QA strategy for Pasito AI, and managing our outsourced QA team to build end-to-end testing. Your role will involve both strategic planning and hands-on testing to deliver a seamless user experience.

This is a growth opportunity in a highly entrepreneurial firm where you will have a major hand in developing our testing practices and expanding our client engagement. You will be working closely with our VP of Engineering, VP of Product & Data and CEO, gaining invaluable experience and insight into how to grow a venture-backed business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for our products and services.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document defects and ensure the quality of our software.
• Own testing of Pasito before we go live for clients.
• Manage outsourced QA team developing end-to-end tests
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
• Develop a strategy for QA for Pasito’s AI capabilities
• Track and report on test progress, test results, and quality metrics.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in modern testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Desirable experience writing unit and integration tests for typescript/javascript applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
