About the role

We are looking for a Founding Electrical Engineer to help develop our circuit design and system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-reliability embedded control systems for autonomous crack-sealing robots.
Select, integrate, and optimize sensors (LIDAR, cameras, IMUs, encoders, thermal sensors)
Develop custom PCBs for motor control, power management, and communication systems.
Optimize battery and power systems for extended autonomous operation.
Collaborate with the software team to test prototypes quickly
Conduct rigorous field testing and debugging to ensure performance in real-world road conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
Experience in PCB design (Altium, KiCad) and embedded firmware development.
Strong knowledge of motor control, power electronics, and battery management.
Experience with CAN bus, UART, SPI, and Ethernet communication.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems or industrial automation is a plus.
Willingness to work on-site and test in real-world environments.
