Founding Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a smart, ambitious founding engineer, based in New York City, to build the future of contract negotiation with us.

As a Founding Engineer at Pincites, you’ll be responsible for the development and scaling of our web app and Word add-in, as well as new products crucial in automating contract negotiations. You’ll have a front-row seat at a fast-growth AI startup that ships daily, making contract review better for thousands of companies.

About Pincites

Pincites is an AI contract negotiation assistant for busy legal and procurement teams. Pincites accelerates contract redlining within Microsoft Word, offering AI-generated suggestions and comments tailored to client preferences.

With support from top investors like Nat Friedman, General Catalyst, Liquid 2 Ventures, and Y Combinator, we’ve generated significant annual recurring revenue and serve legal teams globally. We're on a high-growth trajectory, aiming to build a billion-dollar company.

We’re led by a technology and privacy attorney with extensive big law and legal tech experience, who’s a verified expert in building and implementing technology for legal teams. Her cofounder was the lead of the secret scanning teams at GitHub and former fast-track Meta engineer. We have legal, FAANG, and startup experience nailed to a tee.
