Founding Software Engineer
About the role
As a founding engineer, you'll work across our entire stack to build and scale out our distributed tracing and agentic testing platform. You'll have significant influence over our technical direction and full autonomy.
As a founding engineer, you'll be working on
- Building our AI agent infrastructure for reliable, scalable test execution
- Creating robust device infrastructure for web and mobile platforms
- OpenTelemetry integration and trace correlation
Example projects we're working on
- Session replay analysis and automated test generation
- Low level automation libraries for multiple platforms
What we're looking for
- High level of customer empathy, understanding the problem you are solving for the customer when coming up with a technical solution.
- Enjoy solving novel problems with high amounts of technical and product ambiguity
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems
- Practical experience with LLMs and AI infrastructure
- Track record of high ownership and autonomous execution
- Strong communication skills
Experience that will make you stand out
- Mobile testing infrastructure experience
- Background in browser automation or testing frameworks
- Experience with OpenTelemetry or distributed tracing
