We’re looking for an exceptional engineer to help us expand its capabilities to handle billions of vectors, power thousands of concurrent AI requests, and meet the needs of global enterprises seeking state-of-the-art retrieval solutions.

What You’ll Build

• High-Throughput Database Architectures
  Design and implement scalable systems using Postgres and PGVector to efficiently manage massive vector operations.
• High-Concurrency AI Pipelines
  Architect infrastructure that seamlessly handles thousands of concurrent requests for AI-driven workflows, ensuring consistent performance even at peak load.
• Robust, Fault-Tolerant Systems
  Build reliable frameworks that gracefully manage the complexity of generative AI workloads—where resilience and uptime are paramount.
• Foundational Technology
  As part of our founding team, you’ll have the autonomy to shape core infrastructure decisions and lay the groundwork for future engineers to build upon.

What We’re Looking For

• Top-Tier Systems Design Expertise
  Deep experience with distributed systems, networking, and the art of optimizing database performance at scale.
• Containerization & Cloud Mastery
  Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud environments to deploy, monitor, and scale AI infrastructure globally.
• Proven Record of Scaling & Performance
  Demonstrated ability to push databases and systems to their limits—experience with high concurrency, complex query optimization, and near real-time data processing.
• Passion for AI Infrastructure
  Familiarity with vector databases and a drive to solve cutting-edge technical challenges in AI. Previous research or advanced competition experience in machine learning or related fields is a huge plus.
• Extraordinary Intellectual Achievements
  IOI/ACM-ICPC medals, top placements in elite competitions, or groundbreaking scientific publications. We firmly believe such accolades often reflect the insight, creativity, and dedication we prize on our team.
