Our GPU Cloud marketplace is used by the Fortune 100, startups, and more to find and deploy affordable, reliable compute. We're building a multi-cloud distributed compute platform to run inference and training workloads anywhere.
We're a capital efficient organization, profitable, and focus on scaling by automating processes rather than growing headcount. We're looking for team members who are excited to build in this space and leverage AI as much as they can.
The Role
As our Chief of Staff & Automation Lead at Shadeform, you'll work directly with our founders to streamline our business while building systems that scale. You'll identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks across the company, helping us maintain our capital-efficient approach to growth. This hands-on role combines operational leadership with technical implementation—giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact as we scale our GPU cloud marketplace.
What You'll Do
- Build automation solutions for business processes across sales, support, and operations
- Use AI tools to maximize efficiency across the organization
- Develop systems and workflows that allow us to scale without proportionally increasing headcount
- Design metrics and tracking systems to identify improvements
- Optimize workflows to enhance productivity and scalability
- Review and negotiate contracts with partners and service providers
- Work with external counsel to manage legal compliance and review documents
- Collaborate on financial planning and resource allocation
- Identify and mitigate operational and business risks
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and partners
Ideal Requirements
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Strong operational background at a fast-growing tech startup
- Track record of implementing systems that improve efficiency
- Proficiency with AI tools, agents, and coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
- Experience leveraging AI for workflow automation and operational improvements
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience with legal document review and contract negotiation (preferred)
- Background in AI/ML infrastructure or cloud computing (preferred)
