Frontend Engineer
About the role
Requirements
- Proficient in React, TypeScript and CSS with a strong understanding of modern web development practices
- Experience building high-performance web applications using Next.js or similar modern React framework
- Experience in working with functional components, static and server side pages, and dynamic pages.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g. Redux, Jotai) and modern frontend build tools
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome Developer Tools, Query Monitor, and other troubleshooting tools
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement new features/designs and improve existing UI/UX
- Work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of API’s on the frontend
- Refactor components for better composability and maintain global component library to be used across Simplify’s products
- Improve responsiveness of UI across many devices and screen sizes, especially mobile
Bonus Qualifications
- Strong UX/UI sensibilities and ability to collaborate with design teams
- Experience with Tailwindcss
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright)
