Marketplace to help companies lease and share office space
Empty offices, endless Zoom meetings, what’s that you say about “hybrid work”?
The office market has flipped on its head. Offices are 50% as full as they were in 2019, and hybrid work patterns have changed how companies seek to find, lease, and access new space.
Tandem is a marketplace enabling companies to find office space in the 21st century. Check us at out at tandemspace.com - you’ll see hundreds of spaces on our marketplace. We match, service and enable companies every day to find their perfect office space, and we’re just getting started.
We’re hiring a Growth Lead to take ownership of building and scaling new go-to-market (GTM) motions that drive both supply (office spaces) and demand (tenants) in San Francisco.
This is a strategic role focused on identifying and testing new acquisition channels, designing repeatable playbooks, and executing boots-on-the-ground initiatives to fuel Tandem’s marketplace growth.
You’ll work closely with one of Tandem’s founders to unlock new opportunities and help expand Tandem’s presence in SF and beyond.
If you are a creative builder who thrives on experimentation, building GTM strategies, and seeing direct impact, this role is for you.
This is a full-time in-person role requiring significant travel around the City of San Francisco.

Empty offices, endless Zoom meetings, what’s that you say about “hybrid work”?
We’re on a mission to bring human connection back to work by making the hybrid office a reality. Founded in early 2023, we’re a venture-backed startup spun out of Stanford that matches like-minded companies to share office space. The result: lively, energized office space — with people you know and trust — without all the waste.
So far we have 250+ companies in our ‘match pool’ and have paying customers in the Bay Area, LA and NYC, with >$3M in annual rent volume running through us. Tandem was founded by Rafi Sands (Bain, Pano, Marqeta, Stanford GSB), Brendan Suh (Bain) and Kristen Gallogly (CBRE). We’re backed by Y Combinator & Soma Capital and supported by Stanford Professor Nick Bloom.
