Healthcare benefits represent the second largest budget item in companies. While large corporations have internal resources and leverage to customize their plans, the 2M self-insured companies with <1,000 employees struggle to keep up. Healthcare costs are projected to grow by another 8% in 2025. Once again, employers will have to choose between increasing their expenditures, passing these extra costs onto their employees, or reducing benefits.

TrueClaim is a transparent, AI-enabled third party administrator for self-insured companies. TrueClaim uses healthcare data and technology to enable benefits teams to offer better benefits at a lower cost. Our AI-enabled engine adjudicates and continuously reviews 100% of medical expenditures to save over 7% of healthcare costs. The savings can be as high as 20-30% when our benefits design suggestions are implemented. Our ultimate goal is to save 1.5% of GDP.

We are backed by Y Combinator and other world-class investors, have over 3 years of runway and a stellar founding team. We launched our first customer 2 months ahead of schedule.

About the role

You will be tasked with building some of the most foundational pieces of our product. You will get immense ownership and responsibility over helping us achieve our mission. If you are crushing it in your role, we can “drop” a challenging product issue in your lap, and you’ll not only solve the problem, but also turn it into a delightful experience for members, employers, and other key stakeholders.. Even better if you can quickly solve infrastructure issues and are comfortable at any layer in the stack.

Skills: Node.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React Native, AWS, LLM APIs

Logistics
