About the role
Ubicloud is building an open source alternative to AWS. We’re looking for a very specific person who can build and lead a managed Kubernetes service.
If you meet the following criteria or know someone who does, we’d love to talk to you!
- Held a substantial role in building the managed K8s solutions at Rancher, Platform9, Spectro Cloud, Rafay, or has equivalent experience. (We’re also happy to talk to you if held a similar role at EKS, AKS, GKE, etc. Please keep in mind that simplicity is in our tech DNA.)
- You can build a Managed K8s MVP that we could soft-launch to an internal YC crowd
- Motivated, talented, and have a growth mindset

Ubicloud is an open source cloud that can run anywhere. Our cloud services include elastic compute, block storage, virtual networking and firewalls, managed Postgres, and powerful IAM.
