We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our expanding team. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by actively promoting and selling the Vori’s all-in-one system to mom & pop grocery store owners. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the grocery retail industry, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role reports into the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential leads and target markets within the grocery retail sector.
- Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at grocery store locations through regular communication and personalized interactions.
- Arrange and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the Vori system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customized sales collateral and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
- Provide ongoing customer support and assistance to ensure a seamless transition to the Vori.com system post-sale.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets and provide insights for future sales strategies.
- Represent Vori at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the grocery retail industry, wholesale/CPG industry, or related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
