About Vori Vori is on a mission to revolutionize the future of the $1T grocery industry. A rapidly growing vertical SaaS/Fintech startup for neighborhood supermarkets, Vori is looking to hire an exceptional Founding Operations Lead to help support our customers as we scale. Vori is an operating system that empowers small grocery businesses, and integrates a cutting-edge POS and inventory management system to help these local businesses thrive against large chains like Walmart and Kroger. Also we'll help reduce food waste and food insecurity along the way.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead to take ownership of the deployment process and customer lifecycle management of our Ops team, ensuring seamless transitions from post-sale to support and customer success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of optimizing operational processes within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to streamline the deployment process, ensuring efficient onboarding of new clients and smooth transitions to the operations team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to align deployment processes with overall business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement and excellence in execution.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of deployment processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with the product team to provide feedback and insights for product enhancements based on customer feedback and operational insights.
• Serve as a liaison between operations, support, and customer success teams, facilitating communication and ensuring a cohesive approach to serving our clients.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in operations management, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background
• Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and scalability. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt to change and lead teams through periods of transition.
