We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to help us guide several of our interdisciplinary teams through the Agile testing mindset as we ship software daily. Quality management is different at Webflow. We like to think of our managers more as coaches or mentors. They get their hands dirty from time to time, they feel the pain of their teammates and they see their teammates performing their day-to-day work.
About the role Location: San Francisco HQ or remote (anywhere in Western Hemisphere) Full-time
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll:
Lead and support a group of up to 8 direct reports Contribute to the software delivery process, from exploratory testing to develop acceptance criteria, to bug advocacy, to verification-based testing. Coordinate with the product, engineering, and design managers on the team to meet key objectives and advocate for quality. Empower your team by advocating for their needs and supporting them through personal and professional challenges and goals. Help shape company-wide processes and work with other Engineering Managers to continually evaluate how we can better support our reports and each other. Attend and observe your reports' team meetings as well as review your reports' testing activities and status updates, and you may span multiple teams Work on a highly technical platform that empowers hundreds of thousands of people, and serves millions of page views an hour Set crystal clear expectations to sidestep resentment and prop up your reports for success.

About you You’ll thrive as a Quality Assurance Manager if you: 3+ years of experience in a Software Quality Leadership role. Have a deep understanding of agile testing principles and the whole team approach to quality. Have a strong testing background and have preferably reached a senior quality assurance position at some point in your career. Have an understanding of what intrinsically motivates human beings through autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Embody Servant Leadership and possess a hunger to amplify others. Have the empathy to deliver tough feedback respectfully and with candor and kindness. Have an understanding of the system designs of complex web and mobile applications.
