Your Role

• 🪖 Be the backbone of the Wefunder system. You’ll reconcile, process, and optimize how the team handles funds.
• 🪵 Be the main resource internally for all payment-related issues and processes. You’ll own the entire knowledge base of how and when payments run, when they fail or succeed, and when they can be sent.
• 🤑 Manage back-end money operations. Ensure that founders and Wefunder are paid accurately and on time.
• 🚰 Manage a robust pipeline of companies—know them like the back of your hand.
• 🏅 Develop processes that make our disbursement and revenue processes faster, more reliable, and more accurate.

Skills & Experience

• You ruthlessly prioritize. You’ll be a primary point person for our entire team as they go through the crazy process of fundraising and the ultimate goal - getting the funds - on top of having dozens of competing priorities. You know how to separate the wheat from the chaff.
• You’re an excellent communicator. You can clearly communicate complex processes to people who lack prior context.
• You thrive in ambiguity. You’re comfortable learning quickly and asking a lot of questions. You prefer being thrown in the deep end. You aspire to learn every small detail about the fundraising and funding process.
• You have incredible organizational skills. You can manage internal operations, calls, and debugging—all while making sure that no balls get dropped when dealing with dozens of founders.
• You’re highly accountable and reliable. If you say you’ll do something, you’ll get it done.
• You’re empathetic but firm. You’re creative in finding solutions but know when to stand your ground.
