The Role
The Head of Engineering will lead our engineering department, responsible for developing and executing our technology strategy. This role involves managing the engineering team, overseeing the development of our product, and ensuring that our technology meets the highest standards. The Head of Engineering will play a key role in the direction of our company and its technology.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 5-10 years of experience in software development, with specific skills in Java Spring Boot, React JS (Redux/MobX), MongoDB, and AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Cloudfront, Lambda).
- A strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience in deploying scalable systems.
- A minimum of 3 years in a leadership position within engineering, demonstrating the ability to manage teams and projects.
- Strategic thinking skills, with a track record of translating business objectives into technological strategies and actions.
- A solid background in client-side architecture, with experience in implementing effective solutions. Interest in generative AI and its application in business process automation, with a willingness to stay updated on technology trends.
- Effective communication skills, essential for team leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.

Location
Preference will be given to candidates located in Australia or the US but we will consider exceptional candidates from any location.

- 1st interview (30 to 60 mins): introduction to Workflow86, introduce yourself, general overview of your background, deep dive into past experience (focusing on one major project).
- 2nd interview (30-60 mins): deep-dive discussion into technical response and questions.
- 3rd interview (30 mins): offer and final questions from you.
