In terms of experience, it is incredibly useful to have worked on similar problems particularly at a PhD level. Candidates who have done research in robot manipulation are greatly preferred, but other forms relevant experience are also appreciated.
We’ll have 2-3 interviews to go over technical skills, projects you would like to take on, and discussions about the role.
Yondu is a startup deploying robots to solve labor intensive problems in retail and 3PL services. We are first addressing batch picking for order fulfillment by using mobile manipulators and wheeled humanoids. Currently we are upgrading off the shelf robots to complete this task, but we will soon manufacture our own robots!
The company was founded by MIT students and has already raised seed funding after graduating from the YC W24 batch.
